Venue

The Venue is situated in the Prague residential districts Dejvice and Bubeneč. The lectures will take place in a modern building of the National Library of Technology (NLT) in the university campus's heart. The area is full of students, and the greenery of surrounding parks accentuates the young atmosphere. Near the library, the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS (IOCB Prague) is located. Its main building houses the Czech Museum of Mass Spectrometry.

Transportation to NLT

Public transportation

We recommend using the service of the Prague public transport system. The Venue (NLT) can be reached easily; the visitors can use either metro station Dejvická and walk 500 m, or a tram 8 or 18, exit at Lotyšská, and proceed about 400 m.

By car

The visitors coming by car can park in the NLT underground garages (website in Czech only) or use parking on the streets around the library. As in other parts of Prague, parking is regulated and may not be a simple task. For more information, visit the Prague parking website.

From the airport

If you arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague, use regular bus 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín (17 min), change to metro, and continue to Dejvická station (5 min). A taxi ride from the airport to NLT takes about 20 minutes.

From the main train station

We recommend taking metro line C to the Muzeum station, changing to line A, and continuing to the Dejvická station.
